Willow Studio began as a small consulting company in 1994. Sandra Young invited ten creative women over to her home to collaboratively showcase their talents in the form of an afternoon soiree. They each invited ten of their friends to join the festivities, and three of the guests enjoyed a complimentary design consultation. From these three “down to earth design”consultations, word of mouth spread to inspire thousands of homeowners to appreciate the “willow” touch.
The first small Willow Store was launched in 1995, rapidly requiring larger locations to showcase the growing repertoire of interior design samples. Great sources in Canadian furnishings, carpets, lamps and accessories were carefully hand picked to provide the best value and design to Willow clients. Additional stores were launched to allow other Alberta and Saskatchewan homeowners to enjoy the benefits of careful, heartfelt design strategies.
Now Willow Studio is a buzzing community network of creativity. Artists from across Canada are represented with pride at Willow’s “Red Carpet Events”. Creativity is celebrated and clients are inspired to bring out the best in their homes and their lifestyles, with a little help from their friends at Willow Studio.
